Out of school achievements!

At Coppice primary school we are incredibly proud of everything that our children achieve both in and out of school take a look at our shining stars!

 Harrison

Harrison take part in Motorcross and competes all over the country within his sport.  Harrison trains every weekend and thoroughly enjoys the competitive side of his sport. Motorcross consists of him having to race a bike and ensure that his clutch and gear control is perfect to make sure he is first and fastest off the line. When Harrison competes there are a number of people all stood on the start line with their bikes. They then race around a track and receives points based on their position. One competition consists of three separate races and an overall presentation that concludes the points won by each rider and an overall position. Harrison currently has a total of 34 trophies suggesting that he has a skill for the technicality and stamina of his sport - Well done Harrison we are all incredibly proud of you!

Rhianna achieved her teamwork and thinking day badge badge where she has had to attend an event and demonstrate brilliant ability to listen and think of different ways to overcome problems that included the whole team – well done!

Ruby B became an official guide and said her promise this half term at 1st Ripley guides – Well done!

Kian and his team got through the first round of the cup match and soon will face Tyler’s team – Good luck boys and may the best team win!

Sam received his martial arts and skills badge at 1st Sitwell scouts. To achieve his martial arts badge he had to achieve a black and white belt at his martial arts class and to achieve his skills badge he had to demonstrate how to replace a lightbulb; load and unload dishwashers and show to have an awareness of basic plumbing skills including replacing pipes!

In November 2019 Ethan took four dance exams in Waltz, Foxtrot, Square tango and Freestyle. These awards were presented to Ethan in February at the dance school’s presentation. Ethan also earned a medal at his first ever dance competition in February. Well done Ethan!
